Review and content policy

Reviews are only useful if they are real. These are the rules we enforce.

We remove

• Reviews written by the business owner, their staff, or a competitor
• Reviews bought, incentivised or written in exchange for anything
• Content containing someone's phone number, address or other personal details
• Abuse, slurs and threats
• Reviews about the wrong business, or about something other than the service

We do not remove

Negative reviews that describe a genuine experience. A business disagreeing with a review, or disliking its rating, is not grounds for removal. Businesses can reply publicly to any review, and a good reply does more for them than a deletion would.

Reporting

Anyone can report a review. A moderator reads every report and records a decision. We do not action reports automatically.
