What our verification badges mean

A badge tells you how far we have checked a listing. It is not a quality rating and it is never something a business can buy.
Phone verified
Someone answered the listed number and confirmed the business name. This is the most common badge and the weakest one.
Owner verified
The person managing the listing proved control of the business phone number or email. They can edit the profile and reply to reviews.
Document verified
We have seen a GST certificate, trade licence or equivalent matching the business name and address. This is the strongest badge we issue.
Unverified
The listing exists but we have not confirmed anything about it. We still show it, clearly marked, because an unverified listing is often better than no listing at all when you are trying to find a plumber at 9pm.
